Chicanos/Latinos for Community Medicine (CCM)

CCM aims to build culturally competent individuals who will one day help end healthcare disparities as future healthcare professionals and community leaders. Our goals as an undergraduate prehealth organization are as follows:

• To provide peer guidance and moral support for all SDSU students with an interest in becoming healthcare professionals.
• To educate the SDSU and greater San Diego area about the current health and healthcare disparities of the underserved areas of San Diego.
• To provide health services and education to the Chicano/Latino communities through various community projects.
• To develop passionate leaders who in the future will return to their communities as trained health professionals.
