Fatimah Ali Attends the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) Conference

Please help us congratulate Fatimah Ali, a dedicated HPAO Peer Mentor, who was selected to attend the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR). The conference took place on March 28th at the San Diego Convention Center.
The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) conference is a globally recognized event that brings together researchers, clinicians, and students to share advancements in oral health, dental materials, and craniofacial science. During the conference, Fatimah attended research presentations, explored emerging innovations, and engaged with professionals in the field. A particularly meaningful highlight of her experience was connecting with representatives from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), where she gained insight into research pathways, training opportunities, and ways to further engage in clinical and translational research. This connection provided a valuable opportunity to apply her research interests and strengthened her goal of integrating scientific innovation with patient-centered dental care.
“This experience allowed me to see how research, innovation, and patient care are deeply connected within dentistry. Connecting with NIDCR provided a meaningful opportunity to explore future research pathways and further apply my interests in advancing oral health equity and access to care. I left the conference feeling inspired and motivated to continue pursuing opportunities that combine clinical practice, research, and community outreach,” said Fatimah Ali.
