HPAO Canvas access will be temporarily unavailable May 18–26 due to a system reset. Use the HPAO website to submit the 2026–2027 sign-up form to maintain access and to request advising appointments during the temporary downtime.

Drop-in advising ends April 30th. Summer advising will be appointment-only, with all students eligible to request appointments through the Canvas summer appointment form beginning May 4th.

HPAO is proud to celebrate Daniah Al Dulaimi, one of our dedicated HPAO Peer Mentors, who has been accepted into the Physician Assistant (PA) program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She will begin the program in June 2026, just two weeks after graduating from San Diego State University.

HPAO is proud to announce that Brianna Hostler, a dedicated HPAO student assistant, participated in SDSU's S3 symposium. She had the opportunity to give an oral presentation on her research study entitled “Proton versus Photon VMAT Craniospinal Irradiation for Hematologic Leptomeningeal Disease.”

HPAO is proud to announce that Janelle Attiq, a dedicated HPAO Peer Mentor, participated in SDSU's S3 symposium. She had the opportunity to give an oral presentation on “Exploring the Relationship Between Dental Anxiety and Social Support Among Adults”.
