There are multitudes of opportunities for students to get involved in leadership.

Keep in mind – how you dedicate your time will help shape your application for professional school.

SDSU provides many opportunities for students to join clubs and organizations on campus. These clubs and organizations are student-run and provide students the opportunity to gain leadership skills through participation as an executive board member (President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary, etc.).

Supplemental Instruction Leader

SDSU has implemented Supplemental Instruction (SI) Sessions for select courses to provide students with additional support. These SI sessions are lead by former students of the course who have performed very well in them. This is an opportunity to give back to the SDSU community by supporting fellow students to succeed in their courses, but also develop invaluable leadership skills through running SI Sessions.
