Preventive Dentistry (Fall Semester)- Bio 340A
Participation in clinic, dental observation, marketing activities, and three field trips. Maximum credit four units. Not applicable to biological sciences majors.
Careers in Health Professions (Spring Semester)- Bio 249
This seminar course is designed to expose students to different career options available in the health field; including medicine, dentistry, optometry, and more. In addition, students are provided with a general idea of the requirements for admission to health profession schools, from opening a file in the Health Professions Advising Office (HPAO) through the actual application process. Students can gain a timeline sense of the pre-professional health undergraduate process as well as information on how to become a competitive applicant.
