HPAO Class Coordinators and Directors
Each semester HPAO selects highly motivated upper division pre-health students to serve as student coordinators for HPAO courses for a semester. These courses include: Bio 249- Careers in the Health Professions, Bio 250A- Topics in Medicine, Bio 250C- Topics in Veterinary Medicine, and Bio 340A- Preventive Dentistry. Course offerings vary by semester. Class coordinators are offered for course credit and a letter grade.
Student Organization/Club Officer
SDSU provides many opportunities for students to join clubs and organizations on campus. These student run clubs and organizations provide students the opportunities to gain leadership skills through participation as an executive board member.

Supplemental Instruction Leader
Supplemental Instruction (SI) Sessions for select courses provide students with additional support. These SI sessions are led by former students of the course who have performed well in them. This is an opportunity to give back to the SDSU community by supporting fellow students to succeed in their courses, while developing invaluable leadership skills running SI Sessions.

Community Service/Volunteer Leader
